The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the UGC-NET December 2026 Examination for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programmes in Indian Universities and Colleges. 2. In interest of candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of the Online Application Form for UGC-NET December 2026 Examination up to 31 October 2026 (11:50 PM) without any late fee to facilitate candidates who have not yet completed their application process.
