> National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Promotion of Research Attitude in Young and Aspiring Students (PRAYAAS) CALL FOR APPLICATIONS The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM), NCERT plays a crucial role in developing and promoting science and mathematics education in India. In this endeavour, DESM invites applications for PRAYAAS, a unique initiative aimed to foster research aptitude and scientific inquiry among school students. This program provides an opportunity to students from classes VIII to XI to undertake research projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) with mentorship from teachers and experts from Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
